After realising that regular gum contains plastic, they decide to make their own. Easy, right?

Not exactly...The guys started experimenting in their home kitchen

After 472 attempts, they cracked the plastic free recipe. And so the plastic free revolution began

The team starts sharing their gum with their fellow Copenhageners, and the city falls in love

It keeps getting better and better with every batch, and so do the packaging designs

But the handmade process can barely keep up with demand!

So the team upgrade to their own little factory. Probably the world's smallest gum factory

Instead of plastic, True Gum uses natural sap from gum trees, helping preserve rainforests

It's totally plant based and doesn't use any palm oil

The team have now added 4 flavours to their original lineup: Raspberry, Lemon, Strong Mint & Cinnamon

And they've launched the amazing True Mints collection
